Water Sources
Matawan’s water system is supplied by two separate treatment facilities. October through April of each year the town is supplied by New Jersey American Water http://www.amwater.com/njaw/ . The source of supply for the water being delivered by New Jersey American is the Swimming River Reservoir located in Lincroft. April through October Matawan’s ground water treatment plant provides water to the town.
